Sacajawea state park Indian Dance Days

Indian dance. There was also a group friendship dance the kids participated in ;) A huge bald eagle! Chloe is supposed to be making a "scared" face.
Luke,....the feirce warrior!
If Chloe and Joel were a little darker, they could almost pull the Indian disguise off.....due to the crazy un-combed hair! OK, maybe they just look more like homeless kids from the woods!

Pictures with Indians from a local tribe. Linda and Mom were awesome and took the three older kids to the park for Sacajawea days. They got Indian heads, wood bowls, all kinds of cool stuff! What a terrific experience and the two little babies and I stayed home (which was weird, nice and quite!).

Eva Jean

Eva Jean 7lbs 2oz, 19.5 in long. Born at 3:26am. Here's a very homely picture of both of us pre-delivery....yes, I've given John a haircut since then.
Blessed to only have a 6 hr labor, good induction, no NICU, great blood suagars....God took good care of us!
She looks like a Goldsworthy! Looks most like her big sister Chloe! Pink skin, round little face, with a bit of redish hair.
John and Eva, later that morning. Right before Joel threw-up everywhere and John had to spend the rest of the hospital stay at home with him!
The "Nana" picture :)

Chloe and Luke, thier first time seeing Eva. Unfortunatly, Joel had just thrown up in the parking lot, so they didn't get to hold her and only got to stay for a few minutes!
Isn't she just so sweet!!!
We had a truly blessed delivery. Everything I prayed for, God took care of. Unfortunatly, Joel threw-up later that morning. John took him home and never returned. He had puke/poop patrol for the next 30hrs solo! Yuck! We were pretty nervous about Eva getting it, so the kids were basically confined to the basement when I returned home,....quarentined! We tried to keep Eva in our room. The entire situation to me was heart-breaking, since the kids had waited so long to hold her. I wanted to hold them too and poor Zach, who kept screaming "mama" from the playpen. It was awefull, but what we felt was necessary. Thank goodness no one else caught whatever the germ was!
First day of Joel being better and John had to go to Spokane to do drill work for the weekend. Then on Monday, we will resume hm school and John will be back to work with dad and nose deep in school work! It's truly one of the buisiest times of life! But God has a plan and we feel this is all in it!
On a bright note, we've had some WONDERFUL help! Linda spent 2-3 days here cleaning, cooking and helping with the kids. Mom has been here almost all week and many friends have brought us meals. I feel so blessed and loved!
Eva Jean is such a sweet baby. So beautiful and besides having her days and nights mixed up, she's pretty easy and content :) Like most new moms, I'm totally in love :) Couldn't feel more blessed and happy to have my awesome 5 kiddos!

Hannah Ace's baby dedication

Here's most of the Ace family. Owen (oldest brother) is standing on the side.
What a beautiful baby dedication for baby Hannah! Cindy hosted and a wonderful dinner was served. Beth's brother played/sang a song. We all prayed for Hannah and their family....it was really precious....just like her :) I think this is just the cutest picture!

Tessa turns 2!

What a fun art party to celebrate Tessa turning two! Here's the art crew :) Chloe and Tessa
The boys working on some art. Painting cookies with frosting. I think Joel painted his about 20 times :)

Wrestle mania!

Joel and Luke dressed for a wrestling match in their "armor"! This is their new thing...they find one costume and then stuff it with multiple other costumes, and add peices from other costumes on the outside. This stuffed extra costumes are for "protection" hence calling it their "armor". The they come at each other....looking like sumo wrestlers, more than super heros, and they usually have swords and hulk gloves and it usually ends up in a throw-down. Luke is so kind-hearted, that he often times lets Joel take me down and choke him out, untill he taps out.
As I'm sure you can imagine....it's more than commical to watch!

Zach

Zach is now a year and a half! He's still so super cute! Starting to say all kinds of things! John and I are pretty sure he's our most destructive child yet. He can run from pulling the dirt out of house plants, to dumping cereal adn sugar on the floor, to turning bath water on, to grabbing cups off the table, to coloring on the floor....ect,ect, all in about 5 minutes! He recently has been coming and telling me "ut oh" after he does something like this, which is helpful on my part. He loves his siblings, who also love him very much, and he rarely gets hurt, and loves to try to wrestle his big brothers! John and Zach seem to still just adore each other too.

Here's a pic of them watching Sunday night football. Zach says football now, and yells :)

*Note this is a picture of the last day of Zach being the youngest kid to live at our house. Tomorrow I'll be induced and then Zach will be a big brother! Here's an excellent picture of Zach....very fitting. After he escaped from the shower, ran through the house naked, he decided to find something in the cuboard to rip out and spill :) He also loves to push this stool up to all the counters/tables in different rooms, so he can pull things off them!

1st day of school

Well, really we started hm school on Sept 1st this year, but the 1st of the Home Link classes started yesterday. Luke is taking Lego Robotics, and Chloe is taking Art, and they are both taking Science Chef! Sounds like lots of fun!!! They said they had a great time :) They wanted to take a silly picture...

Goldsworthy Cousin/Family Reunion!!!....Watch out world!

Biking crew :) Our kids called it the Army crew, but I think Joe and Val weren't going to go for that! Mr. Grant....the latest addition! What a cutie!
Some were tired from our big walk!
Part of our crew, waiting for the rest.

Brad, Genie and John.
Where's Brad?? Oh he's hiding.
Cousin Brett

The stroller brigade, meeting up with the bikers.
Genie and Bob and Chloe on their bikes!
This is definetly a nine mo preggo pic!
Brad...lookin' good :)
Danielle with the sleep boys after a Chinese lunch.

John and Zach....I wonder how much old Chinese food Zach at off the floor as John was watching him....ugh!The new generation if cousins!
What a terrific weekend! I think the last time we'ld all got together was '03! We definetly missed Suz....next time she better make it for sure! Wish I would have gotten more pictures!
Jill and Roland came also, but it was the night before I got the camara out. Joe, Val, Grant, Patrick, Brad, Brett, and Danielle were brave enough to stay at our house, and Genie and Bob were not quite up for that much early morning excitment (like 3am in the morning!) and wisely choose to stay at a hotel. I wish I would have grabbed my camara for more pics, but most of the crew frequented some great wineries, and some took the raft out on the river. We ate alot of food and some drank alot of wine, and most of all we had terrific visiting....and wrestling,.....and egg bashing!
Can't wait till the next time! Hopefully it will be sooner than 7 yrs!!!

Happy 35th Anniversary Mom and Dad!!!

Mom and Dad celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Sept 6th! I feel I'm pretty blessed to have my parents still married after 35 yrs in today's world! They are a wonderful example! They are still so cute too!!! Love you M & D!!!

Joel turns 5!!!

Can't believe it! Joel turned 5 on the 8th of Sept!!! That sounds so old, but becuase he's the 3rd kid, he still seems to young to me! Joel is a fun kid. Loves to talk (somedays I think my ears are bleeding) and has lots of energy. Plays constantly with his older brother and is a very smart little man! He says the FUNNIEST things....so many really funny things that we started a Joel's funny quotes folder on our desktop so we could remember then all! I just adore him :)

John turns 34!

What a great b-day dinner crew! Tom even got the entire Anthony's outdoor patio to sing John happy b-day.

It has been about 4 yrs since John has spent his b-day with us. 2 yrs he was training (one of those was last year....I'm trying to remember what he was doing for the Army?) and 2 of the yrs he was in Iraq. He says his best present was getting to finally spend the day with his family :) My man :) and me...9 mo preggo! Here's a silly one of the really preggo lady eating everyone's desserts :)

Rehersal dinner

So, I didn't get many good rehersal pics, but that's what happens when you're in the wedding and so are 3 of your kids! However I was able to get some cute pics of Holly and Tom signing their wedding papers after dinner, and I was even able to get a picture of Tom without his ice cream cone! What a cute couple!

Ode to the Gray Oldsmobile.

Here she stands,
John thinks she will make another lap (to Rosalia) The boy crew in the back...

And Chloe with the map :)

She's packed and ready
and off on her way....

on which they found an even older car,
on some VERY back roads that day.Unfortunatly, the Gray Olds wasn't going to make it,
The family was quite sad,
But that's what happens when you hit a deer,
and the radiator goes bad.....
RIP Gray Olds.....you were a good car.
* Real story is that the indicator on the thermostat light didn't go off and so John kept on driving....totally ruined the motor. On the bright side, he was able to get a pick-up....much more reliable and practical :)
