Projects of the Week

Before pic
After black laquer paint and chair fabric
Free beach chair set off craigslist. Just needed some paint and outdoor material.
Entryway decor is finished. It's sort of extreme, but I like it. There's a family pic in the middle and a "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord" sign. Can't see it well, but the chest of drawers looks like a vintage Chinese piece.
Latest project...taking out the doggie door. Here are the boys thinking that it's pretty cool to have a huge hole in the door. Now it has bead board over it.

Do you know that Spiderman lives at our house?

Here's Luke (Spiderman) in his suit, going to bed. Obviously, he really likes it!

Joel and I think it's funny!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Grandma's b-day....the big 7-0!

Chloe and I....I don't know why we were goofing around in Grandma's Laundry room?

Project of the Weekend

We had the most awesome crew over this Saturday to help with some yard cleanup! Oh what a relief they were!!! 4 pick-up loads to the dump and my yard is looking sooo much cleaner! Thanks a million everyone!

The boys played outside and even helped a little. Luke played with the dog alot, while Joel picked all my flowers.
Chloe flet that it was a little dirty outside, so she opted to play with her barretts.
The entire clean-up yielded great results....and it doesn't hurt to have a dad with a backhoe! Those things are seriously awesome!

A Couple Farmers

I had to put this pic on for John. Two old farmers, dirty and holding beers. John, I hope this gives you a taste of home!

Uncle Joe

Thurs we went up to visit the Goldsworthy Ranch and to see John's brother Joe, who was visiting. The kids had a blast with playing monster and wrestling with him!

I'm a Toy Mountian

Joel has been really into identifying mountians lately. He talks about John climbing a mountian with him when he gets home, so I thought it was so fitting that he made a toy mountian on me :)

A Day with no Kiddos!

Believe it or not, Friday was one of the first times I felt really sad leaving my kids to go off by myself. I think that I've obviously not left them quite enough and am, as a result, slightly unbalanced, but Genie and Bob were so wonderfull to watch the them while I caught up with some friends. Here are my college friends (minus two) that I met for lunch. It was so fun getting to see them and their kiddos!

Nate, Heather and Annaliese....Cassidie is taking the picture and she's only 3!!! It was so wonderfull seeing them! I talked for too long (of course) and then drove home through (what felt like) a blizzard! What's with this weather??!

Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's

Grandma Genie playing the "egg game" with Luke.
Bob and the kids planting some of his birthday trees.
Wow! Those grandparents really know how to tired the kids out!

Happy Birthday Bob!

Here we are at the Spokane Club with Grandpa Bob, Grandma Jean, Bob, Genie and the kids and me for Bob's b-day.

John and his inturperter

Here's a pic of John and his "terp". He is doing good over there. Very busy, but good. Thanks to everyone who has kept him and his guys in their prayers! God has been good and none of his guys have been seriously hurt, and his area has remianed fairly peacefull.
