It's My Birthday!!! I'm 6 !!!

After talking about her birthday for months now, Chloe is finally 6 !!! We're all hoping the CD player for a present will help lessen the car fighting, since her brothers are really into bugging her in the car with names like "poopy"....oh so mature :) She is loving listening to her VBS (vacation bible school) CD and singing along, which I think is pretty cute! Now if we could just get Luke to stop hovering over her new toy, all would be well.

Soccer practice

Luke has now started playing soccer. They really don't play any games, but I think the coaches try to teach some fundamentals, and they play a lot of Red Light, Green Light. Luke thinks anything that involves running and jumping is fantastic!

John with his B-day Present

Here's a pic of John with his birthday present from us. We all picked out our favorite fabric (Chloe-- sparkle pink with rhinstones, Luke--Spiderman, Joel--Batman, Me--brown with orange flowers) and then gave him lots of pictures and thumbtacks. This way he can decorate his room with us :)

So here he is, the proud owner of a very random picture board :)

Happy Meals

Today was a great day to clean. It was finally raining (rare in this part of Washington), and it made it feel nice and cozy inside. I told the kids that if we got all of our rooms picked up, and some of the outside, I would take them to get Happy Meals for dinner. Luke kept asking if he could re-fill his Happy Meal and I realized that they had never had Happy Meals before! I guess they're deprived, but that's ok :) They were pretty impressed with them! I can tell this is going to be a great bribing tacktic :)

Open House

This week we was busy. We had Luke's first soccer practice (pictures to come), an OB appt., three dentist appts, I went to work, Chloe had the flu. I had the worst back ache I've ever had (better now thanks to the chiropractor), and the kids had an open house at thier school (pictures below). Hopefully this coming week will be a little less busy and a little more productive! :)

The Weekend

This weekend was so much fun! My good friend Kristen and her daughter Peyton came over from the west side of the state to spend some time with us. It was a fairwell trip, becuase they will be moving to S. Dakota in Nov, and yes, that did bring on a tearfull pregnancy induced moment or two, but I'm so glad we got to see them before they left. I'm sure we'll be taking a road trip to S. Dakota in the future!

We also went to my nephew Brady's second B-day!!! Happy B-day Brady!! Can you say...TWO...? Notice the cake of Pablo my sister made, she's amazing! Piece of Pablo anyone?
Kristen and I. Did I mention that she's 7 months pregnant. I was wondering for awhile who's stomach was bigger, mine at 10 weeks, or her's at 7 months!

Hey everyone,

Yep, that's right, Goldsworthy baby #4 is on the way. In the ARMY this is called an R & R baby. I'm due April 15th, so please keep our upcoming addition in your prayers. I had my first ultrasound today and everything looked great!

I'm 3 !!!!!

Yes, it's hard for me to believe, but Joel turned three today!!! Here he is in all his birthday glory. And what 3 yr old boy can have a birthday party without scabs all over his face?

Of course, this was Joel's favorite present. Right along with the fuzzy coloring book from Aunt Jill. I'm such a sucker, I had to buy one for Luke too. I guess this solidifies what they'll be for Halloween.

Pics of the week

Luke's first day of preschool.
Joel, after he was pushed down our cement outside stairs. We had to purchase extra large bandaids.
First viewing of the original Starwars. Sorry John, we couldn't hold off on all the clasics untill you get home. Don't worry though, I think there are 4 or 5 more to see including the new ones.
Chloe, happy to be at school.

HAPPY FALL!!!!!!!

OK, I know it's not technically fall, but it's cooler outside, school has started and It's now September, so in my book,...it's fall! Plus, I love fall. It's my favorite season and when I lived in GA and HI, I would just wish for a crisp morning, that called for a sweater, scarf and a warm latte! I've already bought a cute pumpkin that says "welcome friends" for my front step. When can we put fall decor out? I suppose it's just a little early :)

Well, enjoy a crisp morning, buy a new sweater and treat yourself to a latte. Smell some mums, and get ready for pumpkins, apple pies, colored leaves, and all the wonderful festivities that come with God's most beautiful season (in my opinion) ..... fall!
