Cool Desert Nights

This is the a big deal in the Tri-Cities. Cool Desert Nights is a big car show and they have all kinds of festivities to go along with it. One of them is the car parade. They shut down one of the main roads (right by our house) and this year there were 800 cars that drove in the parade and threw out candy! Here's a pic of Luke after racing for some candy. It was sooo fun....party at my place, this weekend next year, ok everyone!

Cherry Harvest

Every year my family harvests our delicious organic cherries in Wallula WA. It's so fun to work in harvest because almost all my cousins come back and some even take time off of work to work at harvest. I brought a zillion children that I was watching today and my aunt brought my cousins kids and Carinn and Brady came and we picked and ate cherries and I took a picture with a few of my cousins that were working around the loading dock....just to make it look as though I was working too :) Good times!

The cousins ....a few of them, at least.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Chloe --"I love you daddy! Happy Father's Day. I'm going to give you a picture of something and I'm going to mail it to you. You are soooo handsome, and so nice!".
Luke -- "I love you dad, and I'm going to give you a Spiderman thing".
Joel -- "I'll tell him (dad) we will buy a superhero thing".

John, you are such an awesome father! Your kids love you and so do I. Wouldn't want to have these crazy kids with anyone else!

I asked the kids if they could tell you one thing on Father's Day, what it would be? These are their exact words :)

Chloe's first dance recital

Here's beautiful Chloe, at her dance recital.

Well, it's been a 1/2 yr and Chloe has actually stayed in her dance class and enjoyed it! She loves to blast the radio and twirll around the house! The whole family came to the recital and it was so fun to have them all there. Chloe did awesome! A big thanks to Genie and Bob for making the treck and helping me deal with Joel, who at the recital, took off his diaper, peed in the grass and then in his pants a little after that since he didn't have a diaper on :) Good times! When your husband's gone....grandparents are priceless!

Yet another project

Here's a pic of the shed in the back of our house, mid way through the project (top painted). Luke helped me paint the bottom. We're still getting some grass to grow around it, but it's getting done :)

Aunt Jill's and Uncle Roland's #2

I worked towards Yakima yesterday and Aunt Jill was so wonderful to pick up the kids and watch them for awhile. Then we spent the night at her place! The kids were in heaven with movies, cookies, kareoke and lots of attention :)

Aunt Holly has a transformer head made by Luke.
Luke's into the "I only take silly pictures" phase.

Hydroplane races!

Auntie Holly at the race :)
Me and Chlo

A couple weekends ago the ameture hydroplanes came to town and raced here on the river. It was awesome because we live sooo close, we could just walk down to see them. We sat a few feet off shore and the boats would zoom by with thier rooster tails. They were ear peircing, but totally awesome!
