More Birthday Party!

Here's the Feb. b-day party at Luke's Great Granma Pentecost's house. The family had three Feb b-days and we had about 25 some adults and 13 kids! A pretty full house, but lots of fun! The boys with Great Grandpa Petersen

The "girl" picture.....aren't they so cute! An attempt of getting a "cousin" picture...of all the little ones. Was more difficult than anticipated.

I'm alot of help, huh :)

Here's some pics of demo/framing in/all sorts of stuff that we did to build our breakfast nook.....well obviously we still have quite a ways to go, and it's also pretty obvious that dad did most the work so far.

From Iraq

Hey Babe,

I love the pictures of the farm....such a different world. Finally got mail and all the Christmas Cards, tell everyone thankyou.

Your right, Joel is....growing.... Give them all a hug from me. Tell Chloe I like her make-up. Ask Luke if his tooth has grown back.

Doing good over here. Weather is starting to warm up...wish it would stay cold so people up to no good would stay indoors.

I just tried to attach some pics but the computer's USB doesn't work. In at Taji, I can't access this blog. I'll try to send you a DVD.

To everyone who reads this, once I change jobs I should get a chance to keep in better touch.

Love all of you guys, I appreciate your prayers for my men and myself very much. Continue it.

kid pics

Here's a pic of Joel, who scooted the table up to the stove to get into crackers and humus....pretty creative. One of Chloe after Auntie applied make-up, and another of Joel sleeping.

Project of the week

I'm trying to download the before pic, but my computer is having issues! Basically, the walls, ceiling trim and baseboards were all wood panneling and these shelves were the 60's wood panneling shleves with shelves cutting up and down and all around, so I re-did some of the boards and framed it in, so it would look like an old built-in. Much better :) We've also extended the ceiling trim and added new baseboards, not to mention doing a TON of painting!

Goldsworthy Farm in the Winter

This is the Goldsworthy Ranch, where John grew up. It's been in the family since the 1890's. This year we're all getting more snow than usual. I thought it would be really fun for John to see the snow pics. They're beautiful!
