A cashe of junk!

Well, John might be out there finding weapon cashes, but we're finding our own cashes in our back yard! This used to be a pile of dirt with huge overgrown weeds and as I started to get rid of the weeds and leaves and shovel out some of the dirt, I unearthed what seemed like an entire basketball court! Really it was a basketball hoop, backboard, poles and all..even cement! Also there were lots of gates and tons of plastic pots...totally crazy.

I'm usually fairly good at posting, but we've had technical dificulties this past week. Just happened to fall on the week of a new job for me too....gotta love how that happens :) I just took a contract dietetics job in Yakima for thier Head Start program. It's only one day/week, which I think is just right. I'm pretty excited about it.

Alex Comes for a Visit

Holly's boyfriend Alex came to visit today. The kids love wrestling/chasing him. :)

OK, so our house sits on an acre...approx. John and I aren't yard people, so what am I doing with this huge yard??? I'll tell you what I'm doing with it today...raking!!! 60 bags down and I'm only 1/3 way down 1 of 3 fence lines!

A Few New Things

Hey there,

There are a few new things on the blog. First is the music. John gave me a lot of crap for having the song "bubbly" kick on. So John, here's some Kutless and Skillet for you. Also is the counter downer, John you might think this is actually a depressing addition, but I think it's sort of fun. Lastly, is all my friend's blogs.

Project of the week

Here are some pics of the hallway.....ya, it's not too exciting, but much more work than anyone would realize. 4 doorways, one door, two closet doors and 4 drawers, plus baseboards and adding quarterround. Also painting the hall that yelloish-tan color. Lots of work that only I'll notice. Glad to be done with that one....well, I actually have one more door to paint.
