Joel's in Jail!

Here's a picture of Joel "In Jail". I have lots of great pics on my camara, but we have currently been experiencing technical difficulties, so here's a pic that Holly sent me. She was hoping the square would look like a picture frame, but I insist that it looks like he's in jail.

Spending the chore money

So, the kids have been earing chore money now for 4 months. The boys have been saving for Hulk boxing gloves and Chloe has been saving for "something Hannah Montana". Today, Hulk boxing gloves went on sale and therefore, the boys were able to achieve the they have been working hard for....purchasing the Hulk boxing gloves! (I might regret letting them get these!)

The funniest part of the entire process was shutting down the line at Target for at least 10 minutes while the lady counted out $45.00 worth of nickle and dime change in baggies! I think they were pretty annoyed, but I thought the whole thing was wonderful!

First belly shot

ok, ya, I know, I'm only almost 15 weeks along, and the belly is really sticking out there already! But, give me a break. This is my 4th kid!
The fist kid you can't tell you're pregnant untill the 7th month. After the second, you can still wear a bikini. The third you're into maternity clothes in the first trimester, and the fourth, you look down at 6 weeks and wonder if you're having twins!
Luke took the pic. He has become quite the photographer!

Visitors

Joel sharing his apple crisp with Berg.

My childhood friend Marie (Mo) came to visit today with her kids Lilly and Berg. It was so much fun to see them! Some people never change and that's what I love about Mo. She's made me laugh for years and still does. It's always fun to hang out with her.

Tile, Tile, Tile

So, as many of you know. My entryway has been plywood for a yr now, and I decided that it was high time to get the new tile in. I tiled the bottom last weekend, but the top part needed to be a little lower so that the tile would meet the hardwood floors. I'm not a fan of reducers in entryways.
Of course, the fix to this problem (taking the original plywood off and sawing the floor joists down) was easier said then done. Dad, who is always my home fixing hero, came to my rescue and spent the day here "fixing" the top of the entryway. Whoo! Now on to backerboard and tiling the rest!
We found lots of 'treasures" under the entryway stairs, (that were added on in the 60's to our 1948 house). Originally what is now the frount entryway had been the back of the house. We found shingles, roofing paper, old tiles cereamic and sticky, old lenolium, and a nice wood headboard and footboard that I think I'm going to use for Chloe's room. You can see the old yard flagstone, or cement or something under the stairs in the picture.

Progressive dinner

Our "single spouses" group. Bryson, me and Angel. Need I say that we missed an entire clue and were suppose to take this picture at Yokes, but instead took it in Josh's tool shed. Long story. I'm blaming my brain malfunction on all these kids I have!
Me totally excited to be out with adults and no kids!
Below: Bryson with a scary costume at Walgreens.
Had an awesome time at our progressive dinner. Even though it was for our church's young married's group, some of us were spouseless, so we made our own "single spouse" group. It was a great time going to 4 different houses (one being mine) with about 24 other poeple! Here are a few of the first pics that have come in.....since I forgot my camara.

Young Married's Group Campout

Friday, our young married's group from church went to camp out. I only stayed till the end of the evening, but it was really fun to hang out with everyone and there were a zillion little kids all running around, so we all had a great time!

Grandma Genie and Grandpa Bob

Grandma and Grandpa Goldsworthy came over to join Chloe for her birthday. The kids love seeing them and constantly ask when they can go see them on the farm and play with all the dogs there, since my children are pet deprived.

Grandpa Bob, teaching Luke how to play checkers. All I can say is...he's a very patient teacher!
