Bachlorette Party!

The Bachlorette! The Bachlorette Party Crew at dinner :) Yes, I didn't add many of the party pictures, and the one above I edited a certain cake that Carinn made out :) haha! We actually had a great and laid-back night of visiting, watching an epic "bachlorette party video" that Heidi made for Holly, and eating lots of good food!

Creativity and Harvests

Here's some good produce that we picked in our own back yard! The kids have alot of fun going out there and "harvesting" it! John actually does too....maybe there's some farmer left in him after all :)

This is Joel's "medal". Poor thing, he wanted a medal so bad that he paperclipped a fake coin on the end of a carpet string! At least he's creative!

Here's the crew before taking the raft and crossing the river. They made it accross and I picked them up on the other side. Chloe was dissapointed they didn't get to "hunt", but Joel let his shoes float away, so that pretty much ended the hiking part of the trip.
Luckily for our kids, John loves a weird adventure!

The "Zucchini Factory"

Lock your car doors! Zucchini season has hit and what could someone possibly do with all that zucchini!?

We grate and bag it and make zucchini bread all year, as well as put it in just about everything possible!

Here's a pic of John on the electric gratter, with Joel and Luke ready to bag! Joel called this our "Zucchini Factory". :) The baggers....doing there job.

Chloe made us Zucchini cookies, and I made Zucchini casserole for dinner....yumm!

11 yrs :)

July 31st marked our 11 yr anniversary. We had a nice dinner at Ice Harbor Brewery and walked around the marina. I think I'm about 31 weeks preggo in the picture. All I can say is that God is truly awesome and does give the desires of our hearts :)

The Great Chicken Release!

Our neighbor purchased chicks this year, in hopes of many egg-laying hens. She ended up with 4 out of 6 chickens being roosters! The roosters were very mean to the hens and so we transfered them to the farm. Here is us releasing them. Chloe seemed a little nervous, but Joel had no qualms about chasing them and grabbing them. He seems to do this with lots of bugs and spiders lately too.

Luke singing to Zach

These two are so cute. Luke has always adored Zach, but for the past year, had always been too rough with him....to the point where Zach would push him away and scream at him if Luke sat by him!
Lately, Zach has had a change of heart. Maybe it's just that he's getting older, but he always wants Luke to carry him around. If I take him, he now screams at me! It's too cute! I just love watching all the kids together lovin' each other!
