Is it summer time??

Well, I guess it's not really summer yet, but we're starting to feel the heat!

Luke's action shot from the new slip and slide....good times!

Even spiderman had to settle for a cape and not a spidy-suit.

Visit from Grandpa and Grandma :)

I've lost the battery charger for my camara, so blogs will be few untill I can order another (I'll try to swipe from other's camaras)....which happens to not be at any store and on backorder on the cannon website.

The Goldsworthys came today. Here are Grandpa Bob and Chloe at Wendy's.
Joel on the walk home.
Luke and me. We both look like our food at Wendy's was laced with something.
Was it the Chicken nugett?

What's up with this spring schedule!?

For all of you wondering why we're a little slower on the blog these days, the spring schedule has picked up in pace! I totally underestimated how much time a real yard takes! I mean totally underestimated! Why do people have big yards? Who has time for this stuff!? How much can we concrete over and still have it look ok?
What did you say??...Spiderman isn't real? Who needs Spiderman? Joel will protect us!
Sorry, this pic was the right way on the preview. Anyways, you know it's time to cut your kids hair, when you can put it in pig-tails!
We all think Joel's hair is pretty funny!
Even Joel realizes that it's time for a change in hair style!

Church Yard Clean-up

Today a group of people from my church came over and made a HUGE impact on the yard situation! They came in force....lots of people and the right tools! Wow, what a difference they made, we are sooooo thankful!

Projects of the Week

Before pic
After black laquer paint and chair fabric
Free beach chair set off craigslist. Just needed some paint and outdoor material.
Entryway decor is finished. It's sort of extreme, but I like it. There's a family pic in the middle and a "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord" sign. Can't see it well, but the chest of drawers looks like a vintage Chinese piece.
Latest project...taking out the doggie door. Here are the boys thinking that it's pretty cool to have a huge hole in the door. Now it has bead board over it.
