Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The kids have really gotten into St. Patrick's Day this year! We've made green cookies, green leftover potatoe and beef sandwiches, they even dressed themselves in (lots of) green today (lots of it mismatching)! Like some other holidays, they even thought it was supposed to involve gifts. They wrapped up their toys for each other this morning. Actually, they wrapped up the other kid's toys for them. ie, "Here Joel, her's your plane I wrapped up for you. Happy St. Patrick's Day." I guess unwrapping is most the fun?

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY from our crew to yours!

12 Weeks....yes, 12 weeks pregnant!

I guess I haven't posted that I'm due with our 5th in Sept! We are all pretty darn excited....Luke thinks, "it's alot of kids", Chloe is praying for a girl, Joel is just midly excited, and Zach obvisouly has no idea, but unfortunatly is going to have a real reality check in another 7 months!

Busy with activities

Although work for me is over, we've kept plenty busy with 20 zillion activities, and it's been pretty fun! Tues was hm group and Chloe's acting class, Thursday was piano, friends over for dinner, finishing a pergola, and them off to another friend's art show, Friday was Petersen farm dinner at Granny's and then off to a concert while my parent's took the kids! and Sat was a 25mi bike ride for John and friends, Toni's baby shower and Sunday church.....all which I meant to get pictures of, but only remembered to get this cute one of Toni with her new baby Adele....precious!

Posting again :)

Due to John downloading the camara pictures in an unknown location, I haven't blogged for awhile. Back, I'm back at it. Latest in our house is that I'm completely finished working for now. Chloe is still hm schooling. John's working away at school. Zach is almost one (can't really believe that!) Joel and Luke are obessed with any sort of game as well as weapons....which can sound really wrong in certian situations....and well, that's about it I guess. Hopefully I'll located the past pictures soon!

Here's Luke while unloading dishes.

Happy Valentine's Day Belated :)

So I'm realizing one of these got on here sideways, but oh well. Yes, we made over 20 of these plates for friends and had a great time dropping them off! I thought that since we are home schooling Chloe this year that we better have a Valentine's Day party with lots of junk, since that's what Luke would have at school, so we made 5 zillion V-Day cookies and our party was delivering them. Funny thing I realized was how absolutely obnoxious sugar cookies look when decorated by kids!
Joel and his "hot" date. Auntie Holly. We tried to teach him some chivalry, like how to open a door. Hopefully he was a nice date.

Surfing and the Sword factory

After staying in the Yurt, we hit the beach, since John couldn't see the ocean without surfing in it!
Chloe, begining on the Sword factory The boys and their swords. This is what they did while dad surfed.

The sword factory near completion

It's a mystery why this pic won't rotate, but here's John after his surf. A little more gear is definetly necessary here verses HI!
